4 Vancouver Indoor Attractions to Visit on a Rainy Day

Science World

Start at Science World, which is accessible by car, bus or SkyTrain.  Located on the east end of False Creek, Science World is full of educational displays that appeal to all ages.  There are different events throughout the year to give you reasons to visit again.

Vancouver Lookout

This tower in Gastown offers panoramic views of the city, Burrard Inlet, the Northshore mountains.  While the view is greater on a sunny day, you can still enjoy the glass elevator ride and the view of the boats moving around the harbour on a rainy day.

Fly Over Canada

This thrilling theatre adventure is a must see.  Strap yourself into your seat and get ready to fly over Canada.  If you’re bringing kids, make sure they are at least 40 inches tall and if they may not be able to sit still for the whole show, ensure there is an adult sitting next to them.

Vancouver Aquarium

Finish your day with a drive through Stanley Park and a visit to the Vancouver Aquarium.  If you plan to visit more than twice in a year, the annual pass is a good deal.  There is so much to see here, including a local Pacific water zone, a tropic water zone, a bird zone, reptile zone and 4D theatre.  If you venture outside, you can see the larger water animals, including sea otters and walruses.  Two onsite cafés offer places to relax and refill.
